Oatmeal balls with sea buckthorn

Ever since the children were little, oatmeal balls have been rolled in December. That will still be the case and here is the recipe for one of our new favourites.

Oatmeal balls with sea buckthorn

You will need:

25g salted butter

50g finely rolled oatmeal

40g icing sugar

1.5 tablespoons of cocoa

3 tablespoons cream

+ 3 tablespoons sea buckthorn Gin Liqueur (our favorite)

or 3 tablespoons sea buckthorn syrup

Here's how you do it:

It is all aged well together, put in the fridge for 1/2 hour and rolled into small balls.

The oatmeal balls can be rolled in sea buckthorn flakes or coconut.

Store in the fridge for up to a week.
